Is Bolton the Plame Leaker?

If you google "Bolton Niger uranium" you'll get lots of results about Bolton's effort to push the false yellow cake story before the Iraq invasion. Here's an example below.
The Washington Note Archives

I'm gonna bet that Bolton had something to do with the Valerie Plame disclosure based on this circumstantial evidence:

1. He pushed the yellow cake story.
2. He asked for the identity of the American citizen speaking on intercepted communications by the National Security Agency on numerous occasions
3. He has a well-established reputation for losing his temper when he doesn't get his way, and acting mean and vindictive
4. Carl Ford's testimony described a man who does not care about the rules but, rather, his policy objectives; the ends justify the means

Anyhow, that's my barely informed opinion on which administration official(s) was behind punishing Plame and her husband for her husband's challenge to the yellow cake story. What do you think?

Bolton Often Blocked Information, Officials Say

Bolton Often Blocked Information, Officials Say

I'm starting to think that Bush wants to keep Bolton in government so he can better control the hothead. I wonder if Bolton is one of the unnamed Bush administration officials who leaked Valerie Plame's name. Press reports suggest that he's got the temperment to do something so awful. I'll have to see what role he had in the Niger matter. If he was involved in that, well, gee, wouldn't that give an SOB like him motive to ruin someone else's career?

Throw the Bums Out in '06!

I can now understand why some conservatives are so frustrated with the Bush Administration after reading this story.

The Pentagon cannot account for how it spent billions of dollars appropriated to pay for the US invasions and occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq.

The citizens of this country can ill afford to give these Republican bums control of Congress yet again. Congress has failed to hold this administration accountable in any way for the many misdeeds it has committed, not to mention the billions of dollars wasted and lives lost.

EJ Dionne: The Paris Hilton Tax Cut

The op-ed you'll find by clicking the link below raises an issue I had no idea was lurking behind the Social Security debate. The gist is that a Social Security Admin. actuary has calculated that a reformed estate tax could cut the shortfall in Social Security in half. This piece is worth a careful read.

Why Are We Paying For Bush To Push His Dismantling Plan On Us?

Cost of Social Security Drive Cited (washingtonpost.com)

This Washington Post story reflects an issue I've been mulling over lately. Why are taxpayers funding Bush's Social Security road show (aka "Bamboozlepalooza")?

What's different about Bush's efforts is the overwhelming lack of support of his proposal (remember he says he doesn't have a plan) by citizens of this country. Bill Clinton's attempt to address health insurance resulted from voters desire that something be done.

Americans want Congress to fix the solvency problem with Social Security, but there is demonstrated lack of interest in doing anything along the lines of the President's private accounts right now.

We should not be paying for Bush to push his poison pill on us.
